Three Great Myths of Time Operations and How to Overcome Them


Any time reflecting on the Three Wonderful Myths of Time Management, Therefore I’m reminded of a poem by simply Stephen Crane:

A man thought to the universe:
“Sir, My spouse and I exist! ”

Time is much like Crane’s depiction of the universe. The idea constantly passes without waiting patiently. Once a day has gone by, it’s forever lost and can by no means be recovered. In twelve months, you will be a year older, whether or not you lost 20 lbs or gained 20. Time’s arrow flies forward with no sense of obligation.

Myth one: You can manage, period.

We are willing to bet that 99 times out of 100, somebody employing only techniques created 40 years ago would be much more productive than someone utilizing no techniques!

Additionally, it is important to realize there is a beautiful diversity of ways of life and careers, each with various demands and a special rate of life. Some are unable to imagine functioning without their very own Blackberry, while others prefer to take care of everything with just coop and paper.

Bottom Line:

Never shun an idea just because the idea turned 50 last week. As an alternative to asking the question, “How old is it? ” I would recommend asking, “Does it job? ”
